But seriously you and Malicious Metal should duo que ranked with
and
Even if we were in the same servers, I wouldn't drag Malicious down like that.
I'm mediocre at best. I do have moments where the enemy team would rather hide in the fountain than step outside their base at risk of running into me, but mostly I'm just the guy that doesn't feed and little else.
You play Veigar mostly right? He's one of my main mids and it's a hard knock life with all the AD mids running around and fucking
.
Blegh.
It wouldn't be so bad if Event Horizon was still instant, barring that .25 second cast time.
I actually had an idea of making Veigar less binary against AD champions. As it stands, his ult screams "anti-mage", but I've always considered him more of an AP
, one of the true infinite scalers.
You want anti-mage? You have
. His passive, Q shield and blinks are nightmares for immobile, control-based mages that the class is infamous for.
What if Veigar's ult scaled less against enemy AP but also scaled against enemy AD? Something like 50% per stat. It'd make his identity closer to "scaling burst-your-face-off mage" (which IMO is what he should be) rather than anti-mage.
I do agree with the sentiment that his identity should be "burst everything" rather than anti-mage, since, as you pointed out, Kassadin not only fills that role much better, as does Galio, but he was in fact designed for it.
Truth be told, I do not like the enemy stat scaling primarily because it punishes others for doing well. If anything, I would simply remove it altogether and increase his AP scaling instead, giving Veigar more incentive to stack AP. Really, just making him less reliant on Event Horizon to deal damage would do wonders for his performance.
That said, I am horrible at balancing, so I have no idea whether that would make or break Veigar. Regardless, I love The Tiny Master of Evil as he is, and will happily play him through whatever changes come.
I'm still salty about DFG though.
I'm salty about DFG in the sense that they gave Assassins Duskblade after calling DFG toxic. But Riot does what Riot does.
I kinda like the enemy scaling as it is now, since it creates ways for enemies playing against Veigar to abuse that. You're winning against Veigar as an AP mage but you don't want to itemize for damage for fear of his ult? Itemize penetration or utility items, or Abyssal. It hurts a losing Veigar more than if he had a high AP scaling, though I feel where you're coming from.
I consider Veigar (like Poppy) Riot's attempt to bandage the middle finger that is mobility creep. Personally, I'd like to take this a step further than the dash-stopping stun that Event Horizon already is; and make is so that if you're caught in the circle, non-
blinks are silenced.
Even though I readily admit I'm biased, I feel like this'd be a pretty balanced change. Actually punish enemy champions who just happily let themselves be caught and then blink out. Riot called it a cage in their rework on multiple occasions anyway, so let it be one.
On the topic of playing someone through thick and thin, I hope Riot does Vlad justice (I'm sure I've already mentioned this somewhere) and I look forward to channeling the almighty black soul of M. M. should they dishonour him.
Let's just hope that the mid year mage update will fix everything.
I can't take him mid anymore because of all the AD assasins, but he's still awesome in the support role when the enemy team has an AP support/jungler/mid. There's a delay but it usually works as a fantastic way to separate the enemy support from their ADC even if you don't get a stun on anybody. It's how i deal with Soraka lanes :3
yea sadly morde works better with champs like

is ok but the top 3 work better
but my personal favorite simply has to be
his early game damage combined with the sustain from morde's W is simply insane. and morde can use voli's Q to piggy back ride rigth along with voli flip slam boom dead
That sounds positively brutal.
Never doubt yourself!
Besides you could just play norms.
Hey now, I'd love to fool around^^
Especially seeing that event horizon's practically serves the enemy team on a silver platter.
I ship ;)
Would they be as funny as on the boards
sry for my bad england
Yes, I'm sure they would be.
And your English is sufficient, no worries.
Reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist.
