'Main' literally means someone you mainly play.

Not to a one-trick. A main is the champion who you devote your whole self to. They are your partner, your spouse in-game. It means so much more than just "I'm going to play the next 10-20 games with them and then move on." They are no one-patch-stand. You cannot become a main with just a few games, a fleeting romance. You become a main through time, trial, and effort. You must pour your very soul into them. That is what it means to be a main.

20 games does not a main make. To legitimately call yourself a "main" for a certain champion, you would need at least 40-50 lifetime games on that champ and have more than a 50% pick rate for them over the last 2 months. It's not just your personal FOTM freelo champ.

I totally agree. People tell me they main a champion and then I see they have like 20-30 games with them this season and in their last 20 games only played them about 33% of the time or less. To me that isn't maining a champion, to me that is someone just trying someone out. When you main a champion you play that shit into anything and learn to outplay your counters. You learn the champion so well that there isn't a thing about the champion that you don't know. Maining a champion and only having 20-30 games with them in the last month is just toying around to me.
