ADCs believe, somewhere deep down in that infantile core of their being, that your CC and unloading your entire kit to stall enemies and buy them time to run means that they can be a 1v5 god and not get instantly murdered with just their 15HP left.

I had a Sona game recently where my lane opponents were going all in on my Ashe, and I came up just in time to cast my W and E. She barely got out alive.

And then she proceeded to run right back in and die.

Tables were flipped that game.
