It was an anime from 2007 called Murder Princess about a princess who, while fleeing after her kingdom was taken, gets her mind swapped with this bounty hunter. The both of them have to team up to get her kingdom back. It was a little weird, but I liked it.

I'm pretty sure that arc with the women pirate and if I'm not mistaken that happens before she finds the last dragon.....I coudl be mistaken thou and don't feel like searching that particulary frame from over 8 hours sooooo...... It's Akatsuki no Yona and that shoudl be toughen xD

Checked real quick, its about 4 min 50 sec in on episode 21. I finished watching it super recently, so I knew quite close on where it was. <spoiler> The pirate arc was pretty much the last major arc of the show, with the 4th dragon barely being introduced at the end, along with some slight wrap-up. </spoiler>

Definitely a show I want to continue for another season, as cast intros and world building was finally wrapping up, and the story was moving on to the next phase where they could finally focus on their major objective/purpose. And Yona had just grown up into a badass leader who could carry her own weight!

I usually watch the anime one season behind so I don't have to wait a whole week for an episode, if it is a major anime I wait for a whole arc to be completed. If I'm not mistaken this anime finished airing early 2015 so I probably watched it over a year ago so I'm really unsure what episode was, I assumed it was earlier because of the number of dragons they had (I believe is the same arc that the green dragon joins or could be different I don't remember quite well since it was a "filler" anime for me, I wasn't interested on it but I had nothing to watch)

As for a second season 2 last I heard (Late 2015 so say december for baseline) was that it had moderate success on japan and was in the top 10 most waited second season, manga is also pretty far ahead (volume 18 or 19) so they have enough (and more interesting) material available. Problem is manga is only doing so well...anime did better than manga which is ironic so I guess they are hesitant about pulling the trigger. Your best bet is to check the manga and see if they have any announcements there, usually for us westerns that's the fastest way to get reliable release information.... My japanese is only decent so I don't feel like going though the last volume to see if they are doing an anime or not and I doubt it is being translated by fans currently so I guess you will have to sit tigth xD

Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn) is quite good! I found Yona's voice in the dub to be a bit grating, but it improved somewhat after the first episode. One thing that would make this series absolutely amazing would be a second season, as it seemed to reach the point where it could really take off/get serious right at the end (it's not a cliffhanger ending, but more of a concluding exposition).

I dunno sometimes I wish some people had spoiled some of the stuff I've seen. I think I would have enjoyed code geass better if someone had told me how it changes halfway through. I can do without horrible endings tyvm.
