But....isn't that Vel'Koz? I mean....Vel has lasers and tentacles!!!!

A Superb VillainAug 25, 20151 votes

Battlcast, yes, and who made that, hm?

revliledpembrokeAug 25, 20151 votes

So, that would make Vik the Catalyst, then?

A Superb VillainAug 25, 20151 votes

We do not speak of the Catalyst.

revliledpembrokeAug 25, 20151 votes

Well, I want to speak about it a little more just to ask....Did anyone ever try to Kirk it to death? None of the Leviathans considered pointing out to the machine that it's solution to prevent organics being slaughtered by synthetics was to slaughter organics with synthetics? Because if a computer or android had that pointed out to it in a Star Trek episode, that computer would have exploded. "I am in violation of my programming....programming...program BOOM! And another thing, If the rogue AI were such a problem, why not just fight them? "Oh noes, organics are being slaughtered by synthetics...guess I better kill everyone and let God sort it out!" Stupid machine...alright, now I want an ending where Shepard talks the Catalyst into blowing itself up along with all the Reapers by pointing out the flaws in its "undeniable" logic.

if you walk in predictable patterns then yea

If you can dodge Viktor's laser more than half the time, he's either not trying to hit you, or he can't aim it properly.

The fact that's it's vectorable in any direction he chooses, and can start at any point within it's range, makes it possibly the most unpredictable skillshot to dodge in the entire game. I can start the cast ON you, you cannot dodge that. Any point in the middle of the laser would make it one of the hardest to dodge.

Now, if you are consistently being hit by the end of the laser's trail, you probably need to work on your dodging, because that's moderately easy to dodge; but there are times when you simply cannot dodge the laser.

And even IF that wasn't the case, everybody gets hit by skillshots in every game, LCS pros, and bronze players alike.

LordGeovanniAug 25, 20151 votes

for him to cast in directly starting on you you are just standing one place cause of the short range of the Laser its much easier for him to hit front line characters can melee characters but with any second tier boots its fairly easy to dodge considering you know what to look for also helps not to stand in the minions so he has to choose between hitting you/ hitting the minions/ or setting it up where it could hit both but you have enough time to get out of the lasers path even with out boots or any movement speed enhancement. im not saying its easy to dodge for any body but if you play and practice and pay attention to details those things become second nature just like arhi and her 1/4 second wind up on her q and e skill shots 1/4 second isnt long but by dam its there. after arhi used to be popular for years before ekkos release its really being lazy like people who get hit by ekkos q over 400 units away while farming. viktor did get that laneing phase nerf to his hexhtech core

LordGeovanniAug 25, 20151 votes

i actually find him more difficult to build than most mages cause of that core takeing up a space i could use to give him mana or cdr or penetration if i try to build those his ap damage and sheild suffers
