If that would ever occur (in game NOT lore based), Dota would completely obliterate League. I have no more love for Dota then League, but Dota is literally built around completely overpowered heroes. Take Phantom lancer or Medusa for example.

Other Dota champions are able to stomp them because most (if not all) have such overloaded abilities and damage that would be unheard of in League. Medusa for example is made to literally 1v5 in a fight. Or Lich King who can revive himself multiple times in quick succession. You don't have a League equivalency for that kind of thing.

It's a metaphor. The german shepherds can represent league champions - relatively similar in strength, so most don't seem completely op where they can annihilate each other - and the tarantula and cockroach can represent dota heroes - some are obviously immensely more powerful than others and can destroy each other easily.

This may make it seem like dota heroes are stronger than league champions because of how op some heroes are compared to others, but that doesn't actually mean anything since they aren't ever fighting league champions. They could be a lot weaker than league champions.

Or vice versa. You can't compare them based off of how each group does against themselves.

Which is hilarious because their kits are so overloaded that the game FEELS balanced. Meanwhile league has like 8 OP champs that just are overloaded and poop on everyone else.

Ok, so if we are speaking from a lore perspective, then League wins over Dota every day. The most powerful character in Dota, Lore Wise,(If I am correct) is Zeus. Zeus is only the god of Lightning and his domain is only Earth. While the most powerful character in League is Aurellion Sol, who is basically the god of the universe. I mean it says that he was born with the first breath of creation. And lore wise, League characters are much more than anything that Dota has. League characters are gods, they are interdimensional beings, they are the last of their kind, they are ascended, and they are much more powerful in lore. Then of course we have Teemo.

If we are talking about Gameplay wise, Dota would probably win, just due to their kits being much more overpowered and overloaded. To the point where some characters in Dota are meant to 1 v 5 the enemy team. Cough Wraith King, Medusa, Faceless Void, Huskar, Axe, Brewmaster, Phantom Assassin, Phantom Lancer.Cough (And that's all I can think of off the top of my head).

well yeah, because your ultimate doing 900 true damage to me is NBD if I can just come back to life.

It also helps that in DotA2 there are A LOT more items, so there's a lot more itemization options against different kinds of comps.

However, Demacia, Piltover and Bandle City might form one big tribe considering Poppy and Heimerdinger. Shurmia has Azir who can raise up sand soliders. (am i looking at this too hard?)

Dota characters are off the chain insane dude.

Weaver creates entire existences and universes. He is effectively a god. He creates the beings that create the stars. Chaos Knight is the very essence of chaos. He has an infinite number of himselves, or at least as many as there are dimensions. For every dimension, he can summon a copy of himself. Io is a being that connects all living things. It is the essence of magnetism and attraction, meaning it controls matter to a level. Enigma can eat matter and summon black holes as well as devolve beings to the simplest state possible. Last time I checked, black holes beat stars. Doom is the devil itself. Nuff said. Ancient Apparition can freeze anything to absolute zero, meaning all matter does not move in any way, shape, or form. Any heat that touches it is instantly brought to absolute zero as well. Nothing can get near it without freezing. It's so cold that light particles would freeze around it.

Dota characters are absolutely bonkers lore-wise. If Dota and League were to fight on lore-wise power levels, Dota would rip League's heart out.

weaver makes dimensions, aurelion did that to by making the entire universe. chaos knight is the very essence of chaos, fiddles is the very essence of fear lo connects all beings, tahm connects all lands. enigma can eat matter summon black holes and devolve things, but you can't eat, destroy, or devolve nocturnes nightmare doom is the devil, but what is a devil to illaoi's god the ancient apparition can freeze things sure, but we already know how capable league champions are when it comes to that. nunu of course being the one that can also freeze things down to absolute zero.

Dota heroes seem strong, until you realize just what they are dealing with.

I don't think I quite fully explained myself.

Weaver could create Aurelion Sol. You have a fair point with Chaos Knight, although Fiddlesticks is a little bit outdated as far as what he is right now. Tahm doesn't connect all lands. He is just a cross roads demon that preys on the innocent. Doom is vague, so I'm not entirely sure how powerful he is exactly. Naga could definitely be stronger. The difference between Ancient Apparition is he does it without even trying. Things just freeze around him and he can do it on an extremely long range scale if he tries. Nunu has to both focus and channel to bring things around him to absolute zero, and only temporarily.

The main one here is Weaver. Weaver isn't limited to creating one dimension nor is he limited by anything. Weaver is limitless and could destroy dimensions other weavers were not protecting them. Plus, Weaver can reverse time and space. Imagine Aurelion Sol, plus Bard, plus Ekko and increase that power a bit, and you get Weaver. Plus, Weaver is not shackled. He is not enslaved at all. He is completely free to do anything he wants as long as he doesn't meddle in the dimensions of another weaver. Aurelion Sol does not have such freedom. He was enslaved by Targon through a trick. If this happened to Weaver, he would simply reverse time and space to make it to where this never happened. If he came close to losing against Aurelion Sol, boop. Not anymore. That's why Weaver is so stupid in his lore. He creates dimenions, reverses time and space, and is completely free to do whatever he wants as long as it doesn't mess with another weaver. That is insane lore power. The only being in League that comes close to this is Bard, who can traverse dimensions and manipulate matter. However, to my knowledge, he cannot go through time and he cannot create dimensions, so Weaver outclasses him.

Also Enigma controls anti-matter and I am almost sure that he never sleeps or dreams at all. Nocturne can die. Enigma can too, but a simple shade of a nightmare like Nocturne is a little bit small compared to Enigma. Going beyond all that as well, Enigma is a super clever bastard. He has created false lore about himself so that he can steal whatever he finds from those who seek him if he fidns them to be remotely powerful. Nocturne could track Enigma, find him, but then it wouldn't go down well for Nocturne since Enigma cannot be bound nor can he be attacked physically or mentally. The only way to kill him is to completely obliterate him and destroy all anti-matter in the universe. That is something that even Weaver would have a hard time doing since anti-matter is not limited to one dimension, but all dimensions.

I'm sorry but, the same goes for League. You read into the League lore and think, "Wow, this is unstoppable," and then read Dota lore and things are just stupid. It's lore is so full of beings almost beyond or equal to the power of a god that, until we get a lot more Aurelion Sols in League, there isn't much chance of a win for the League army if we go by lore power.
