I don't get it. Supports exist to carry their carries (at least while laning).

OP is supporting the patriarchy by perpetuating a myth that all women need to be carried by men, and thus supports rape culture.

Check your privilege thresh.

A support is meant to be an extension of the carry. There is a reason you need a strong foundation in order to support a house. your support isn't carried by the ADC, they are simply another weapon for the ADC.

Sadly it doesn't matter if you carry your ADC. If you get your carry fed, it's expected. There's no thanks coming your way. No one goes out of their way to help or save you. You're expendable. In a discussion of that ancient topic of 'who fed the enemy team?' I have literally been told: "you're playing Support, you don't count." Granted that's a little liberating but still.

At best I'm doing what people think I should. At worst I'm getting yelled at for feeding because I'm trying to save my carries or make some plays happen. I get very little out of supporting in the way of traditional praise unless I'm doing like, world-class good and we've facerolled two lanes just as a duo.

I dunno about you, but when i play twitch its usually a mutual relation between me and my support, nobody is carrying anyone
