There are only two things you must know: 1: Don't jump in lane. Don't jump in lane unless you are confident you will kill your opponent. You have to save it as an escape only. 2: Buy a good mix of offensive and defensive items. Things that make you tanky and deal damage are your friend, like Maw for example if you are against an AP champ. Too many people buy all tank and are too afraid to buy AD and then they do no damage and are useless as Mini, or too many pure offensive items like BoRK, and end up being too squishy to be reliable as a front line in team fights. Other than that, there just logical things that you will learn with time, like positioning for ulting, controlling your rage, and kiting. Hope this little bit helps.

Also Gentleman Gnar is important. You need to beat your opponents with class.

Fighting Gnar is even easier as Olaf. Stay away from him until Mega Gnar and get level 6. In the meantime get a big, black cleaver. When Gnar goes Rawr you ult, all the cc that Gnar has doesn't work and you can kill him. Easy.
