Most of my family don't play video games much, let alone online multiplayer games. And often they need my help with stuff on their own devices. but sometimes they don't ask for my help until I start a game of League of Legends. One time I was pulled from a game because they needed my help to copy and paste a link on their phones.

My girlfriend used to do this to me. Til I made her play a game of League. Now she knows better lol. (she hates video games you can imagine how a full game of League went)
Tell them to wait. It's not difficult. I don't think your whole family is right at your service when you ask them to do some trivial thing.

Yeah... people don't understand that if you leave the game, it's not just your time you're losing out on, 9 other people somewhere in the world are having their time wasted because something that definitely can wait half an hour to an hour is being requested to be done asap...

Just take your time one day, and explain it to your family, most people will understand if you simply talk about it. Worked pretty fine for me.
Common saying in my house hold is "The next time you die I need your help." For the people who use the excuse that they have to go for supper (I know I have) I take proactive steps in knowing when supper will be ready and not to start a game of league. Take some responsibility, I know its just a game but games aren't fun when your team leaves because they have to take the garbage out.
call them when they on the high way and tell them they got 3 mins to have the macaroni done
Just last night, my baby sister was driving to the airport to pick up my other sister... aaand of course had to get lost and call me for directions while I'm in the middle of an intense game.

I was once in a ranked game with a friend, and my sister called me on the phone that she was stranded on the highway with a flat. I told my dad so I can keep playing but he wanted me to go help him. My words to him were "My team needs me, I can't leave them hanging." We lost that game. I probably should have went with him.
