I still find Camille to be a good anti-assasin pick necause her kit not only absorbs damage but also prevents assasins from running away after failing an all-in. Zed can't R nor W out of Hextech Ultimatum and Talon can't leap over a wall(plus you dodge talon's ult if you ult exactly after him. Just my prefference though.

Or pick Garen and just be careful early game until you build some armor and don't eat too many WEQ's. Or Sion which is another massive mid lane bully.

Zed otherwise wins all other assassin and mage match ups, if not by killing them, by running them out of mana with his safe farm and resourceless poke.
