I once got a message about how my report helped get a really toxic troll perma-banned. Best feeling ever.

Reading these comments is funny because they are very polarized. There is one group of people who are all "LOL TOXICITY ISN'T REAL YOU'RE ALL TOO SENSITIVE HOW PATHETIC" and another group that is like "Yes, I also enjoy when toxic people are punished."
It's also something to note that a lot of the comments defending toxicity are toxic in their own nature, calling the op a horrible, sad, pathetic person.

I've got this message once, but boy, was it worth it. This guy was the most toxic player I had ever seen.
I was smurfing with my new friend so he wouldn't go against level twenties. Wanting to play Veigar, he tries to get mid and fails, going jungle instead after some encouragement from me. I try to get top because Rumble is the only champion I know on the free rotation, but another guy gets it and I end up with support. I choose Zilean. I had played him once during my pre-thirty levels so I knew how he functioned, but I was no master of his kit. I wasn't quite sure how to optimally use his time reset, and I wasn't the best at hitting bombs. Choosing whether to slow people or speed them up was also an issue. We, bot lane, die at level two because I misuse my abilities. I apologize to my marksman, a Draven. Draven curses me out, telling me how I lost him lane. I tell him that his cs is better than Kog's and that this is just early game, we can come back. We come back to lane, fight a bit more, then get ganked by Master Yi. Another double kill for bot lane. (Dang, I suck at this champion.) "NOOB SUPPORT U LOST ME LANE" "I am a noob, it's my first time on this champ" "U LOST ME LANE" "Want me to go somewhere else" "YES U BAD, I CARRY ALONE" Curse words omitted.
Draven keeps getting killed, and eventually he starts blaming Annie, the opposing support, for babysitting Kog'Maw. "IF U 1V1 ME I WIN" - "U JUST HAVE ANNIE CAMPING YOUR butt" "im better than you, i will win" "ONLY BECAUSE MY NUB SUPPORT AND CAMPING ANNIE"
Then he remembers my words. "LOOK MY CS BETTER THAN YOURS" "i have more kills" "U KILL NOOB SUPPORT"
Meanwhile, I'm supporting our Nasus. He's a bit peeved that I'm leaching his exp, but Draven clearly doesn't want me.
Soon, in ally chat: "ff20" a few minutes later a surrender vote is instigated by Draven fails 3/2

Well, I can go back to bot lane now.
I teach my friend about reporting players like this, and we both report the player. Kog'Maw said he would do so as well. (I did not ask him, or anybody else aside from my friend, to.) As we queue up for the next blind pick, this time on Twisted Treeline, we get the report message. Yesss.

guess what? their punishment looks somewhat just like this... bring back the tribunal system i have had it up to my neck with these fools that troll in ranked and get away with it.
I got one of those once, had a smile on my face all day.
All downvotes are from players that are salty they got caught by the report system.
I think this thread was made for people to feel sad...

You're like a christian crusader during the Inquisition. Creepy, paranoiad, and believing that you're righteous.
Reality is, you're miserable and taking it out a few mischief-makers, but mostly you're taking it out on a lot of innocent people who just happened to rub you the wrong way and set off your very sensitive paranoia.
I saw TWO of these in one day! It was glorious!
