Well it's not just that, premades tend to single out solo players or players not in the premade and blame them for all of their stupid ass mistakes.

My personal theory is that much of the Yasuo hate is likely tied to Smurfing.

A Bronze/Silver Yasuo? Annoying, but not drastically more so than any other champion. They make enough mistakes that people at Bronze/Silver can capitalize on, making it fair enough fight.

Smurfs though...

People log into their smurf to learn this high skill cap champion, then they start destroying Bronze/Silver players as they get comfortable with them. Their better understanding of the game leads to them not making Bronze/Silver level mistakes. They have full control over their minion dashing, using it to dodge skillshots and harass. They know when to use the windwall. They know how to get in, deal the damage, and get out with barely a scratch. They're probably CSing better than their lane opponent as well as getting kills, netting them a larger item advantage.

Yes, any champion can be frustrating to play against in the hands of a Smurf, but I think Yasuo's combination of damage, mobility, and ability to negate damage via his shield and windwall make him especially frustrating to play against when smurfing.
