I feel like that's also the moderators' reactions when people post the relevant stuff in the correct board but are not regular members of said correct board.

They recently changed some rules and got far more strict about what can or cannot be posted in Memes and Games. There is thread stickier to the top of the memes and games sub board that goes into detail. Basically, you can't make posts directed at individuals, you can't make posts talking about memes and games as a whole, and you can't make role playing posts.

Another recent change was that the overall purpose of the thread must be humorous in nature. So even if it includes a meme, the things like recruitment, advertising, etc. are banned, even if you include a meme in the post. Misc. is a good place for such posts.

In WoW, it's not the healer's fault you stood in the fire.

In LoL, it's not the support's fault you stood in the line of fire for Miss Fortune's ultimate. Their job is to stop it ASAP, not make sure you take 3 steps to the left.

(This was the subject of one of my removed threads, BTW.)

Hmm, was that all there was to the post? While I think it was fine, it was borderline on whether that is a joke or a gameplay statement. Did the mod suggest you post it in gameplay?

Miscellaneous was the suggested board (which is bull since it included World of Warcraft). And it was entirely a joke since it definitely isn't the support's job to make sure you take 3 steps to the left.

And it is a known meme in WoW that DPS will blame the healer for the fact they stood in fire as a means of denial that they're at fault for it.

Perhaps it was the presentation? The way you wrote it in the comments feels more like a commentary on the similarities of WoW and LoL players, and not really like a joke. The memes and games mods are on high alert right now, and are being especially strict. Just repost it in misc. for now.
