I did this once, I shit you not, as Ahri because at the beginning of the game, I told myself I was going to just focus on not dying and I was going to avoid any unnecessary risk.
It was virtually guaranteed that I wasn't going to win lane.
Sadly, all other lanes and jungle lost, so the game was rather unwinnable. But 8 minutes in or so, other team's Ziggs just up and afk'd out. Didn't say a single thing in all chat but I got the impression from his teammates that he was raging. All his other lanes were fed and he probably felt inadequate.
We still lost the game though but it was a lot closer than it otherwise would have been.
