It's because you're linking a webm, not a gif. Embedly, the API (service) Riot uses to make images embed automatically, doesn't support webm. Hopefully one day..

Why the fuck would he kill Palpatine? And why would he care about ruling the galaxy? He literally became a Jedi to stop the people trying to take over the galaxy and just stop injustice in general, and became a Sith to save queen Amadala which he can't do if he doesn't know how, which Palpatine never showed him.
