LOL Today I did a support troll pick. Only because I felt they deserved it. Dynamic Que I pick TahmKench the ADC is first to ban and bans Tahm. This has happened 4 times now. I pick Tahm and MY team bans him because they don't pay attention to their team. So thats what happened in this case I aske why? They said they didn't realize. So I pick my champion it was Shen . I have supported as him and it can work. But I didn't go support. I went damage and I took kills and I carried the team in team fights. I do plan on doing this again if this situation does come up again. I mean it gives you like a 15 min timer to first pick your champion to show who you are playing. If my team somehow absolutely cannot pay attention to their team. Then I will be the hero who teaches them why they should pay attention.

anybody "can" support, whether its good is a different story. I actually like irelia support, and wish random bronze carries understood her damage early with thunderlords can give instant lane dominance lvl 2 as you likely have gotten poked enough to activate her stun...but in yolo Q, unfortunately, you have to play around what the majority of randoms can understand...which can be rather droll.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

TBH not really. Slow as attack speed, reload, terrible at taking towers, and not a whole lot of consistent damage late. Basically you don't pick him for any reason that you would actually want an adc.

There is a reason he is one of the worst performing adc's right now.

More like people dont know how to play together with their team, he's one of the adcs who actually have to have a team to work, unlike kogmaw who stands still autoattacking and gets a triple or pretty much every other adc that has a defense mechanism(dash, spell shield)

Yasuo botlane works fine, provided you have a support who is comfortable with you and your playstyle.

It's a lot easier when you're playing with friends. Too many salty brats in the normal queues. "eww its not meta"

Uh-huh, top pick, right? Aside from the fact that you get zoned in lane by anyone good (cause you're melee), you can't safely kill towers (which is one of the reason why ADCs are needed) and your scaling is questionable at best. I mean, when the enemy picks Kalista Lucian Vayne and isn't a total idiot, the lane is pretty much over.

Exactly. They are more than enough to trash Yasuo in lane and then they can just proceed to win the game for their team (as all of them are snowbally as fuck). Vayne isn't even top tier pick right now.

But to be honest, I find it pointless to explain things here. I dodge games with trolls, and if someone picks that crap on the enemy team.. all the better for me.

He's just upset I disagreed with him about Yasuo being a "bad" botlane.

In the meta, he is bad. But its still fun, and I win quite often with it. I'm not Challenjour, but it still works in normals against all sorts of ranks :)

However, as stated in my original post, you need a reliable friend to play with who understands the strengths and weaknesses of the lane. A good Leona player(who is queued with you would make it 100x better) is a great support for Yasuo. Obviously the top ones would be characters with knockups, but Leona's early game snowball potential is sexy :)

I'm still trying to find the part in my OP where I said Yasuo bot lane was a top tier pick.

And as far as scaling goes, I'm pretty sure Yasuo is the best scaling carry in the game due to his passive. His weakness is melee range, obviously.

To be fair, somtimes it tends to go better than expected, especially if they actually intend to support. I've won games with jhin support before. You just have to work to each other's strengths.

I mean I once had a Normals game where... Somehow I ended up as support after locking in Singed. It worked, but to be fair, almost anything does in Normals.

Im gonna be honest here This post has to be because of me i just keep doing this is so fun to go yorick support everyone else is jsut so boring right now and yorick is fun i nthe bot lane and has a few really good match up but rawr im yorick i will get kills and feed aswell :P like he goes really well with jhin or jinx

Shaco support is best support, you can engage early with your q, you're hard to gank with your boxes, your 3 is amazing poke damage, and your ult can take tower aggro for the adc, that and you can step a little bit out of the enemy line of sight and they have to instantly be on their toes that you're going to pop up and murder them, also you can pack summoner 14 and summoner 3 because you don't need flash, meaning you can cut down the adc's healing, attack speed, move speed, and perma slow them with your basics because of your E passive

Shaco support sounds like it's best if your support picks after enemy support and they choose a squishy.

shaco support works in duo, aside from that nobody understands how to play with/around his strengths and weaknesses.

for example, he can invade enemy jungle and snitch camps, smite is a reasonable support spell for this style. Without smite, he can still give adc a full camp of xp while taking minimal damage, he can also suprisinglly leash for jungle and give over side camp to adc at the same time if its necessary. invading with the jungler is simple as long as river isnt pinked, randomly decieve in lane a lot and for at least 6 seconds they have to assume your still there and arent likely to call the mia, making a double team invade simple, or sneaking a dragon real quick without anyone noticing, especially after 6.

he offers a lot, but your team has to be shaco friendly...his playstyle is more mind games and social engineering than anything else, be it jungle or anywhere...the good shaco players will make you burn your hair off and beg to be water boarded just to get out of a game with shaco.

I once won a game where me and a complete stranger went Diana and Nidalee bot lane and we won. I got super fed, nidalee free farmed as the enemy couldn't get near us.

I've first blooded a LeBlanc as AD Leona mid lane.

I've first blooded a Riven as AP Caitlyn top lane.

The unconventional isn't always a troll pick.
