I learned quickly that CS is what makes or breaks an S. That's how I became rank 7 on GP while being total garbage with him, after I lost lane I was allowed to free farm.
Try getting an S rank on Nami, where high CS isn't an option

CS is paramount for a high grade in any champion that isnt a clear support pick, the sad part is playing any weird support champion or whose role isnt normally support wont net you an S no matter if you do perfectly because of lack of CS, and even some support struggle, did you die as a tank support? sorry you arent suppose to die at all with those
Yea, for some reason Riot made cs the most important thing for a high grade. Remember when I had a Tryndamere who was 1/7/2 or something, he got S because he had ridiculous amounts of cs, while he never went from top or bot when no one was there.
