A) A meme doesn't need to be funny, it can either be simple part of a culture or its implementation can be funny. I implemented the meme into a joke I though would be worth sharing, the joke is supposed to amuse using the meme as tool, not the meme itself.

B) Whether something is funny or not is subjective.
