No not me proxy farming, ACTUAL LANING against Illaoi. I have no idea why people think Illaoi has a chance against a good singed player...

But...Singed gives no shits about your zone of power. He's not going to actually fight you.

Better yet, Singed doesn't HAVE to fight you. He can just farm and Illaoi is forced to use Q to farm or suffer his poisonous gas. Plus, Singed is probably the best champion at fighting Illaoi anyway in lane since he can move AND fight at the same time.

I actually fight the illaoi using Grasp on an auto after my flip. As for the "Zone of power" I can just dodge the tentacles fairly easily and auto the tentacles to death pre 6. Post 6 I just run around her messing with her and flipping her around with the ball of stats from Singed ult. Before you make the argument that illaoi can just destroy Singed in a fair fight, no she can't because her Q takes long enough to come down for a good singed to just sidestep. Before the illaoi E change as Singed I actually used to let a few of the tentacles survive to have a fun dodging mini-game. Nowadays I just run from the test and take out the tentacles for free gold because Singed will not get hit if he has item 3009 . The only easier lane for Singed I can think of is going against an Aurelion.
