Had to harass my ADC all last game to build a Mortal Reminder because he was getting walked all over.

Like ffs Mundo was just pimp slapping him, popping his ult and raping his face while basically being a obvious kite bait till his team shows up.

Finally started winning once mundo couldnt heal anymore. You can literally see the massive team gold shift after he finally bought item 3123

This is more about when the adc isn't doing anything wrong, but the support won't let themselves trust the adc despite that.

But I feel you - people don't usually think to build that against teams with a lot of healing... Don't know why...

9/10 Mortal Reminder is the better pick because it heavily counters ADCs/Supports/Tanks/Bruisers/Juggernauts/Swain, especially if you're behind. LDR only mildly counters Tanks/Bruisers/Juggernauts and thats if you're ahead. Otherwise 15% stronger cottonballs are still cottonballs.

But the fact I dont trust ADC to build it because they never do is why I had to harass him all game.

It was 30 minutes into the game and he was getting shat on in 1v1s and he builds a BE instead. Complain why he still hasnt started building Reminder yet. Then he builds a pickaxe and I'm like oh god finally...

Nope, Infinity Edge, still gets his ass kicked. FFS.

Its guys like him that cause this lack of trust in ADC in the first place.

Or I'll do my first recall to buy item 3098 figuring they will be fine and farm safe. Dont even close shop yet "First Blood" Fffffffff-.gif

I've had to buy that item as support so many times it's just ridiculous. People complain about the healing and ask how you are supposed to beat it out of frustration not expecting an answer. But they still won't buy it and then will continue to ask how you beat them

The thing I fear most is people will complain too much about it, Riot will fold even though they know better, and they will cause an influx of counter healing causing some sort of hyper meta... Most likely ap since spellvamp is pretty much none existent now so they would be relatively unaffected.

Also I've tried building executioner on a support many times, didnt really work out for me as a support. Hurt my effectiveness/surviveability to provide an effect mid/adc should be providing the team because they can use item 3165 item 3033 much more effectively.

You do take a loss, but the gain it gives your team is larger than the loss it gives you. While a mid/adc could use those items much more effectively, sometimes they don't. And at the end of the game, they need to be built. You just need to weave in an autoattack every three seconds. Which is pretty difficult between healing, peeling, and shielding, but it really is better than nothing. Your autoattacks don't have to shred the enemy, just apply and refresh the debuff.

Yes, but I'm not always there to hold their hand. Sometimes I recall. Sometimes I roam to help nearby jungler/mid. Sometimes I'm dead. They need to be able to do it themselves.

Shit, a few games ago I recalled during laning phase. Was only the enemy adc and the lane was frozen pretty close to our tower. Figured things would be alright while I upgraded my income item. In the time it took for my screen to flash from where I was to finishing landing on the platform my full health adc near tower died to the enemy adc who was on the other side of a minion wave farming. I literally could not comprehend how they died in less than 2 seconds to a level 4 MF.

As a support main my friends tried to get me to try ADC'ing for the first time ever. I figured it would give me better insight and make me a better support player, so I bought T2 runes and made an ADC page. In the loading screen I see my opponent has the word Vayne in their name and are playing Vayne and sure enough, they have mastery level 7 on her and are Gold 2.
