Yes, I'm aware of that awful massacre. But the fact is, gays are murdered on sight in many parts of Africa (if they know you're gay. I'm aware that you generally cannot just pick gays out in a crowd unless they wear a shirt that says they're gay), in the Middle East it's punishable by awful death, lots of Asia looks down upon homosexuality, and Europe is flooded with refugees that are from a region where homosexuality is punishable by death, so. . .
Basically, if you were gay, where would you want to live? I know that there's still plenty of violent acts towards homosexuals in America, but it's one of the best place for homosexuals to live currently. And, as I live in Ohio, it's pretty calm up here. In the deep South, it's pretty messy, yeah. But it's better than a guarantee that if you're even accused of homosexuality, you get stoned.
Why did I use the US for these statistics? Well, that's what was easiest to find on the internet and is probably one of the better countries to base these stats off of, although Europe could work. I don't see why America would have any fewer homosexuals than the rest of the world; if anything, you'd think homosexuals would be more likely to immigrate in order to avoid death in many parts.
While it's obviously not something that's discussed in the lore, I think it's very safe to assume that if the majority didn't need to reproduce in Runeterra, there would be neither sexually dimorphic species, nor would there be sexuality at all.
That entire comment is basically stating that no one's saying homosexuality is wrong, that sexuality has no impact on the game and doesn't matter from that perspective, and then is asking why people find it necessary to make so many homosexual pairings. People were talking about adding diversity and the like into LoL and he's saying that sexuality's not important in the game so why are people worrying about it and trying to diversify it? Basically, he thinks it's silly that people are trying to diversify LoL in aspects which don't impact the game.
And I've never seen Brand and Lissandra shipped, although I'm not a part of the armada of shippers. That makes sense because opposites attract and it's two seemingly opposites, similar to Romeo and Juliet, the West Side Story, and Leona and Diana.
Also, what do you mean by the second to last sentence of your reply to me, specifically the, "which is something accepted and recognized by any credible source?" bit. Do plenty of sources say that the rate of homosexuality is far greater than that?
