Sunset, because sunrise summons a new day which you have to endure, and I automatically connect sunrise to the brutal heat I am feeling at the moment.
But sunset brings peace and cold, and that nice smell of an air's breeze when the sky is grey ...
And lastly, sunset flickers more, and has much more beautiful colors than sunrise.
Sunset, because the town I live in is called Sunrise and it kind of sucks, save for the Panthers. Funny thing is, the town was originally called Sunset, but as it was originally a retirement community the residents petitioned to have it changed, as Sunset is a rather grim name for a retirement community.
Also I like the night, so sunset is right before then, so nicer. It's pretty in some places too.
I prefer sunrise because it's a lot more peaceful. There are birds and I can see it over the trees and it's so nice. Plus it's pretty rare for me because I'm not a morning person, and it's like a Congratulations on Waking Up Early present.
Sunset looks better and doesn't imply I need to get up in the morning.
Sunset. I tend to be nocturnal and daylight hurts my eyes. And sunrise includes all the annoying birds chirping like there's no tomorrow...and the stupid woodpecker that likes to peck the roof right above my room everyday at 6am = =
