Ah, I love Vi... people don't like her point and click ultimate, but she doesn't give a shit about your mobility.

And unlike almost everyone else's hops and leaps, her only technically mobile move has a visual and charge time, leaving plenty of counterplay (considering how much of a punch it can pack, thank God).

But still. Fuck yo mobility, that's Vi's motto.

She's not, she's just immune to cc (might be hard to click if she's going fast, so I recommend quick cast for... quicker casting.).

I remember back when I was a noob and all those times I ulted while at low health... and died.

Ah... those were the days.

Then I learned how to build defenses on her once people started learning how to quick cast. She can't be cc'd (much to a support's fury), but she can be hit by targeted and aoe spells. If you're not at full health or you don't have any defenses, diving an entire team at once is not always the smartest idea.

Not... quite. It can go through terrain, yes, but it's not quite like a flash due to the charge up (flash is typically used more as a reaction). If you can get it charged up then decide to switch tracks from hitting someone to gtfo, then basically yeah. But it's not instant like Lee's ward hop (or his Q for initiating), and it takes Vi with her so it's not exactly a ranged skillshot. Not to mention her MS goes down while she uses it... there's a lot better mobile moves.

It's probably only allowed to be so powerful due to said drawbacks, at least. She's a monster in the right hands.

Okay, in the average player's hands, she's like the cookie monster. A monster, but not an uber monster.

Put her in the hands of a jungle main or something and you learn to fear and respect the twin fists of fury. Hell, people like me don't even use her ultimate as an execute, we use it to fuck up teamfights.

I love using it to dive the back line after putting her entire team in front of me if i know i have a good support base. It's funny as hell to ult someone and get yourself a runover kill just because your ult deals damage to everyone that gets in the way between yourself and the target.

it's also a great way to focus fleeing targets. i've used it several times to attack the person in front of my target just to get runover damage and ult damage on two targets before finishing the low guy in the back. sets up great combos sometimes.

It's also a great disruption. Since Vi is technically an assassin bruiser, it gives the enemy choice two options: focus you instead of your team (great if you built tanky!), or focus your team and lose their carry.

This is exactly how I feel as Nasus when I'm busy stacking and they just won't fuck off. So eventually I just give them the fight they are begging for and I wither them and 3 shot them with my pimp cane.
