How the heck would you balance him????

Seriously, the anime and manga make him look so OP. Good luck breaking through his absolute defense, Lee Sin.

We have a star dragon in game who can literally will stars into existence. Doesn't matter how OP he actually is, he'll have some relatively balanced and underwhelming state in game.

Obviously by limiting him to a unique resource management, also his absolute defense immobilizes him, leaving him vulnerable to coordinated ganks, but he's defiantly going to wreck Dynamic Solo Q PS. Rock Lee Sin skin for the win

Vi doesn't care about armor. Vayne doesn't care about health. Darius keep standing still, it makes him stronger. Fiddlesticks I drink your milkshake! Irelia Stuns and life steal and true damage for days. Leblanc Faster than the speed of sand.

I've actually given this topic a lot of thought from watching Death Battle. What I've concluded is that characters in T.V./manga/movies/etc. are generally stronger than ones in video games.

In video games, characters need to be balanced so they have a set of weakness that in turn make losing a constant possibility. If it's impossible to lose a game, then it's likely going to be boring and no one will want to play it.

T.V./ Manga on the other hand, a character is as strong as the story needs them to be. If the character finds a magic stone that grants them immortality and it makes sense, then that character is now immortal till the story says otherwise.

It's not 100% accurate and there are obviously characters that contradict this (Have the Dragonborn vs the Teletubbies and I will be prepared to eat my words), but on the whole, Games have to make sure the games is fun to play, while T.V./Manga just have to make sure it's fun to read/watch.

Though in leagues defence, Riot practically balances gods in a way so they can fight a guy who fights by throwing magic playing cards, so it's likely they could nerf Gaara down a peg or two :p
