After xin's buffs. I became convinced that Rito's balance team doesn't play the game at all.

TLDR Edition: Riot actually does play their game, but they only have so many Riot members and PBE players compared to the 72 (or so) Million players, causing completely differently-received kits than anticipated, thus making complete fools of themselves when they tried.

Long version:

I sorta have to disagree with that. It's just the fact that they have a small team of playing the game. With a small team, you can only set up a few situations such as a team with good CC, and a team without good CC, and simple stuff like that. The PBE is only a slightly larger group of players (famous youtubers and twitch streamers and assholes like Brofesco, ofc)

With the entire community playing said update/rework/release/etc., you have a lot more situations going on and a lot more team comps and exploits to said released things, more than Riot can predict.

HOWEVER, I do think that Riot sometimes acts out of absolute ignorance when they nerf something the wrong way (taking charm out of Ahri's W, nerfing Kog's basic AS when they simply could've reverted the AS bonuses, etc.)

On the other hand, Riot is kinda caught in a dilema, because they don't wanna keep the audience pissed by ignoring what champs they want buffed/nerfed and/or reworked, but they don't wanna piss off everyone completely when they dont ignore (say for instance, Skarner).

All I want is for fiora to be gutted, and for season 5 to come back. Ive hated everything about season 6 so far.

True, I wish Fiora was gutted too, don't we all? Thing is, when Season 5 came around the corner with Cinderhulk, everyone despised it. There was still little-to-no variety in the jungle, tanks ruled the entire meta while most mages, adcs, and assassins couldn't do anything against 'em (I mean, it was only the first half or quarter of the season). There was also little-to-no variety of ADCs, all you could see was either Vayne or Tristana. Maybe Corki and Varus if you got lucky, but they were mainly mid. There was also both pre-rework and post-rework Fiora haunting our dreams.

I'm not saying that Season 5 was terrible or anything, but it still had its issues. Especially big issues in it's first quarter.

All I can say is just to hang tight because there might be some shift in the meta that could balance a lot there is to it. And I'm hoping this Aurelion Sol has the SOLution (get it? ehehe).
