While lamb and wolf ARE infact friends, they didn't become friends, per say, they were made as friends, CREATED together, in one body, there isn't a way they WOULDN'T be friends. The entity (specualted to be Death) split himself into 2 to never be lonely, or appear as lonely, as they already mentally had the same ideals, he just phisically split himself into 2. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

It's precisely because they're created with the sole intention to become friends together, they ARE in fact "FRIENDS".

Considering while they seem to have inherited the will of the guy they came from, they however do not seem to consider themselves to be him or some 1 same entity. Hence in their perspective, they are merely friends, even though that's already programmed upon their birth. What's actually twisted is that, they know it but just go with it anyway.
