I got the reference. I'm just saddened you picked the wrong champion. Void--> Dark realm. Kassadin or Malzahar would have been a much better choice. Most likely malz cause he is an actual mage

He picked Ekko because Ekko turns back time, similarly to Strange rolling back time with his green time magic thingamajig, and Dark star Thresh because he's a cosmic entity in that skin similar to dormamu.

Well if you are going that route zilean would be a better choice since he can actually come back from the dead

That's a misconception of his magic. What Zilean does is stopping time right before the damage becomes too much and then he turns it back to when you were still fine.

If Zilean was ever to be killed then he would die as the most common of humans.
