Karma pre-rework was strong if you knew her, weak if you didnt. she could slow whatever tether touched and had aoe heal

the only thing i miss about old karma is her heal and the root-speed ally (the shield+speed is just too op) item 3070

IMO she's actually much, much better, she can be a lane bully even as support and fit in lots of team comp, can speed up Darius/Illaoi, can help little kog with the shield/speed bonus and root the enemy that gets close, pretty nice ganks rooting the target, pretty nice first blood if enemy goes a bit further (W+R+Q helps a lot securing first blood)

but we can have different opinions, just like how i despise RiotRepetoir's Quinndred or the new Fiora, cant remember the last time i played both

Because just like with sion, the new karma is stale and easily countered. All she really does is poke in lane hard, get passed laning phase and she is just food for the enemy team. Same deal with sion. Its like they hired a bunch of champion design people who only understand laning phase. They killed sion, they killed karma, I'm sure there are plenty more examples of this, xin zhao for example. Sure, on release he was definitely too strong. Their solution? make him so bad that he is nearly unplayed for 2 years, then bring him up to barely playable for a short while only to buff other champions and put him back into uselessness.
