Why did Karmas popularity decrease when she got her rework?

Karma's popularity went up after her rework.......

That pun decreased my life span by five years. I love you for this pun god anyway damn it.

Karma pre-rework was strong if you knew her, weak if you didnt. she could slow whatever tether touched and had aoe heal

but the main reason is RITO hates us and took her fans :/

Well that and her rework didn't make her particularly fun to play, kind of like all Riot's reworks. DON'T TOUCH VEL KOZ

Because just like with sion, the new karma is stale and easily countered. All she really does is poke in lane hard, get passed laning phase and she is just food for the enemy team. Same deal with sion. Its like they hired a bunch of champion design people who only understand laning phase. They killed sion, they killed karma, I'm sure there are plenty more examples of this, xin zhao for example. Sure, on release he was definitely too strong. Their solution? make him so bad that he is nearly unplayed for 2 years, then bring him up to barely playable for a short while only to buff other champions and put him back into uselessness.

Doesn't she still have them on the Sakura skin?
