so every time i click a link it opens a new tab that goes to some random scam site

Try using the "incognito mode" when using chrome, I remember having a similar problem and it helped in it significantly, though it seemed like the best solution I found for it is getting a mac
Well... Looks like it's time to Factory Reset
this is why you have different computers hooked up to different things so they cant infect one another haha for example have a very basic $100 for basic use and have whatever you want for a gaming computer but dont have the same things downloaded
like i use to have a computer just for school so if i ever get a virus it wouldnt affect my school work haha
