I thought it was referencing the fact that the wards are outside of the bush, thus granting no vision in it. Like when you try to ward the bot brush so their support can't free harass you and it ends up next to the bush but not IN the bush so you end up not being able to see shit. "what are those" is said when someone's shoes are ugly or unkempt and those wards are definitely ugly.

Like any ADC actually knows what a ward is. All they know is that if you don't have this item called a Sightstone, you're refusing to cooperate with the rest of the team.

I once discovered it is actually possibly to play adc and buy wards without impeding your build. I was shocked, all those people who told me adc's couldn't buy wards because damagez were... wrong?!

And if my support wanted to roam and help the team, and their sightstone wards ran out... I could replace them! My support became the team's support, not my slave!

My life has changed ever since.

Wards: there's no excuse.

you don't need to buy any more greens after sightstone. only pinks. continuing to buy green wards after sightstone would be dumb as shit because you're completely throwing out the gp10 value of buying a sightstone in the first place. plus you can only place 3 green wards at a time and (ruby)sightstone gives you up to 5.
