Actually katarina needs one of highest skill requirement to play ever. If you dont belive, try to play her. 1 mistake and you are over, 1 mistake and your combo doesnt exist, 1 mistake and enemy is fed. According to this meta, there almost all champs can break her ulti. Or just burst her to death before she will even think about shumpo
Katarina is actually very tough to play, especially at the higher Elos. Her laning phase is horrible early and can easily be harassed by poke champions like Lux or Orianna. If Katarina goes in and gets CC'd in a team fight, she is done for.
