taric's midgame burst is actually pretty crazy if you can get them to stick around. e>auto>r>auto>w>auto>q>auto and a lot of squishies will be dead or at least in instagib range for your assassin, esp. with the ap/ad aura

Yah, but Taric has cooldown removal of 2 seconds with each spell followed by an Auto attack, plus 45% CDR with the new masteries

you don't need cdr for a rotation, if you have 40 sec cooldown on every basic ability, you can still E+aa+R+aa+W+aa+Q+aa in the same time lapse of Taric

well it does slow the enemy now, since they got rid of twin shadows that might be why. Considering they went for item 2301 instead of item 3092 . plus it heals for 15% of any damage done as well, making her Q into a second heal for her. They Could use item 3151 for the extra burn damage though

Yeah being able to combine sight stone with your gold item to free up an item slot is great for this kind of build, or if you're mid you can just swap it out for item 3135 / item 3157 / item 3151

It's a stand in for DFG, it scales better than ludens as a late game item, Void is better vs high MR targets but generally as Sona you want to try to hit squishy carries, so flat pen from boots and runes/masteries is preferred. Also just want to point out how good thunderlords decree is on Sona

I call it the "my team doesn't have an AP mid" build, since people in champ select will legitimately expect a utility support Soraka Janna Bard to provide all the magic damage their team needs, and sometimes you need to adapt to that kind of team, Sona can kind of fill the role of AP while still having really high utility, if you didn't want to go Zyra Annie Anivia support because kill lanes can be risky if they fall behind

LOL! Funny, but I'd drop the Hextech for a Ludens and buy the knife instead of the sight stone combiner. New sight stone is pretty shit since wards last 20 seconds now instead of 180.

Just hold onto your yellow trinket, or even upgrade to blue.

You still need sight stone, 150 second wards still accomplish the same thing, they just require more upkeep to maintain vision in the areas you need, it's way better than having no vision on the map.

You still need sight stone, 150 second wards still accomplish the same thing, they just require more upkeep to maintain vision in the areas you need, it's way better than having no vision on the map.

Better to just have support hold onto yellow trinket, laners get blue and then do it that way, jungler can take either yellow as well or red.

That prevents you from getting the red trinket to sweep wards, and the yellow trinket doesn't allow you to place vision as fast as a sight stone would as you need to wait for ward charges.
