that is exactly whats gonna happen, riot will stay silent for the whole season, players will become more and more angry about the situation, riot will do there usual PR job and deny everything, we are gonna to see a round table (actualy not even round) and then riot will annonce the coming back of normal draft mode i would presonnaly bet my whole bank account on this.

They are not removing Draft Normal from the game, they are removing it from some regions that have low population and that suffer high queque times. Which do not include NA and EUW.

By which they mean they're working on a way to meld the two systems (Blind Pick and Normal Draft) into something that will satisfy the most people. at which point both of the systems will be replaced. They posted something in the dev corner about this.

It does not mean they cut off draft and be done with it. It is just means they would likely want to meld those 2.

It will be done? Probably not! It' s just an ideal that might either come to fruition or not.

Listen, i am here against disinformation, which means that i don' t want people that cry on the boards for a loss of DraftQ that is not going to come soon in NA and EUW and i don' t want people that perpetrate that.

Sorry for the que loss but Riot manages regions differently, and if they deemed that in your region Draft has to go then deal with them - they don' t do so lightly and they don' t like to remove a feature where they are working on in the other regions for sure.

And whiteknighting a different region is just useless, because we are dealing with things that are not of our concern.

I am from EUNE so it is my concern. If I won't be able to relaxly practise in environment that provides role selection and at least little bit of counterpick, I'll have to do it in FlexQ (as is, ironically, their intention). I am not sure how happy you'd be If your promos while seriously climbing were ruined by "chill I'll just firsttime Lucian, he's izi". I'd bet there a lot of players who'd not be excited about that and looking at the concern and posts about this topic, there is a lot of people like me.

Your attempts to "whiteknight" (when we are at the term) Riot at protect them from disinformation is good, kudos for that, however OP didn't literally disinform as he doesn't claim it counts for EUW/NA. Yes, he might've put "in EUNE, Turkey..." at the end of the name of his topic, but it might cross the allowed character limit.

I am not against you, ok? i would be pissed too if Draft went away from EUW. But a thing is to complain with purpose, another just to make voice.

Truth is EUW and NA reality is far and different from EUNE. basically the only thing we can do here is just to speak up to the wind. if there is someone that can do truly something then it is you people of EUNE, not us. Nothing is coming at us either.

I am not whiteknighting Riot either - i am just saying that they have a reason, because you must have a reason to throw potential thousand hours of development down the trash can. No one wants that. It might be that they are wrong, but then it falls to you players of EUNE to wake them up, not to spread chaos in other regions!

The queue times for Normal Draft for me were never really THAT big (I do, however, play at lower elo, plus only occasionaly). So actually that sounds like disinformation on their side.

Or maybe I remember one of reasons why SoloQ wasn't brought back last year was because "Majority prefers DynaQ". :) :) :) :) :) So I assume my perception of the queue times being short may be objectively true, too.

I'm talking about SoloQ not being brought back, but I'll take it as typo, since that way it makes sense: The reason was they were afraid how queue times would be affected for DynaQ, however, Lyte was trying to tidy it under the carpet with data claiming majority wanted DynaQ. I am bringing it here, because If SoloQers were minority, they wouldn't endanger DynaQ queue times. And If Normaldrafters are minority, as Riot claims now, they won't much help improve FlexQ queue times (which is the reason they are removing Normal Draft), at least not so much to be worth the unhealthy envronment of "casual trollers" practising there. They are trying to mix those who want relaxing games with those who want to climb.
