Rivals of Demacians... Surprisingly easy to miss as many practice stealth and discretion.

Most are not as Stubborn as Demacians and are able to have well thought arguments... But like Demacians, will not easily back down.

But won't purge you for your difference of opinion

Some do it for lols, but they can be quite annoying regardless

You can kill people, you just have to balance it out with a good deed (that at least makes you chaotic neutral). So you kill a guy and plant a few trees afterwards to balance out your karma (which those double as a great place to hide the body :D)

Please tell me that the Hammer is as bad ass to use as I am hoping it to be? If not, the Gunlance sounds ridiculously crazy and i might just use that.

Hmm, hammer seems a little lack luster to me just watching the video, but since i assume there is a benefit to it in the game, I might still use just because i love Blunt weapons.

The Gunlance is a ridiculously crazy as i thought, god now i really want to get this game.

I have never played any of the Monster Hunter games, but have always heard good things about the series. Is it worth getting the newest one out, or would you suggest a specific one to look into.

The hammer is as stated: The unrivaled king of KO damage. If you want to make a monsters see stars around their head, this is THE go to weapon of choice. Though there is the weapon that is derived from it and I actually like it! Its the Hunting Horn. Do you like KO damage? Do you like supporting your team? Do you like Music? So, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, KO damage knocks the monster out for a time once a threshold has been reached, then. Hm, yeah hammer would be a good basic weapon for me. Though i think i am in love. The hunting horn looks awesome. I get to bitch slap monsters with a giant musical instrument and support my allies? Where do i sign up? Definitely looks like it would take some getting use to, but i still see it being quite fun.

Ugh, i am likely to go buy it tomorrow or should i say later today? I could see myself having some fun with it. Only problem i have no friends. Ok, thats a lie, more like friend that isn't going to get this game. That's ok though i got League, Overwatch, and Earth Defense Force 4.1 to play with him currently.

P.S. Earth Defense Force is so bad its good. Worth every penny.

We were all noobs at one point don't worry. Don't be afraid to ask questions that may sound stupid (even if we veterans kinda laugh at it at first). Yes KO damage knocks the monster out for a time (KO damage can only be done by using blunt weapons on the head though), knocking out a monster makes it a VERY easy target for you and the other players, or if your Solo your Felyne Comrades (up to two), to easily wail on it for a bit. Of course though each time you KO it, each successive KO takes some more KO damage to reach the new higher threshold until a maxed is reached for that particular monster.

Totally worth getting ASAP imo, then again I've been playing since the PSP days of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, you wouldn't believe how little we had to work with compared to now. Even if you are out in the boonies (oh wait... That's me... FUCK!) you can go hunt online with other players around the world.

And since your talking about random games...Starbound and Factorio, these games are crazy awesome and fun. Starbound JUST recently came out of Alpha, while Factorio is still in Alpha for now and is very much worth it. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Yeah, I know about being noobs at one point, guess i am just use to the usual toxicity that some people on these forums display. Always nice to meet someone who is civil. Just I generally tend to ask questions that could be construed as obvious, just because i want to make sure I am understanding everything completely.

Generations is for the 3DS right? If so that would give me another nice game to play when i am not home, seeing as the only 3DS games i got are Pokemon and Bravely Default (which i enjoy).

Also those 2 games you mention do look interesting, bookmarked them to check them out more later.

Yeah Generations is for the 3DS, I guess I should warn you though that sometimes you may end up grinding a single hunt of a monster for a very rare drop. If you have trouble getting that rare drop. Stop for a bit and look up that item on Kiranico.com which is a huge database of information for all things pertaining to Monster Hunter Generations.

Sadly for any online gaming community you get the bad players along with the good players. Strangely I must say the online players are generally REALLY helpful to newer players in the Monster Hunter games. Maybe its because there is no PvP in the game at all. Me included on being helpful player to newer players, I've actually gone out of my way back on the Wii and WiiU to help lower Hunter Rank players in the online game play (groups are limited to 4 hunters), and I helped out quite a bit of players figure stuff out and even go on hunts with them, even when I was WAY over equipped for that quest (EG: bringing G-rank equipment to a low-rank quest). I've had G-rank hunters (Highest obtainable Ranking for quests they can go on) help me as well and had great times hunting with them. I've also met some dicks as well sadly, but they have been few and very far between. Then again I have impressed many players who don't see Gunners often due to my skill with the Bow.

No problem, I'm more then happy to help someone who is genuinely interested in Monster Hunter. Its a fairly underappreciated game in the west from my experience. Oh yeah, before I go: Do the training quests at the start. They are a quick way to earn some Zenny and are a valuable learning experience.

You mean Demacia, the land of a Constitutional Monarchy and an elected Assembly? Versus Noxus, the land of Social Darwinism gone nuts? People always claim they hate the idea of Social Darwinism, the strong surviving and the weak perishing, yet here it is, as everyone's favorite. But the actual democracy is more often painted as the bad guy... except by Laughing FIsh.

Well technically, Demacia is a Parliamentary Monarchy that leans VERY heavily towards being a Dictatorial Theocracy, a prime case towards pointing this being Lux's lore. Now, I'm not saying that Noxians are nice guys, they really aren't. Demacians are capable of just as great cruelty though. In the end though, the fight between Noxus and Demacia is not so much "Good vs Evil" as it is "Order vs (Controlled) Chaos"
