It´s just his hobby outside his work, he is still primarily a guy who goes around kicking ass,,,,,,although i dont know whose at this point.
Kinda like how Caitlyn makes cupcakes or Swain being a general scholar in his free time.
Perhaps it´s a way to take a step back, unwind&refresh before going back into the fray^^
