Played against a Galio

I don't know why people think Galio is so bad (not saying this thread implies it though).

-Game changing ultimate -Powerful poke -Extremely powerful sustain -Naturally counters pretty much every AP Mid Laner

I've never played Galio but is there something I'm missing here besides that he's mana hungry and doesn't have #lc$bigplays?

I played Galio in URF today. Yasuo never stood a chance against me

Where do you people get this idea that he's specifically anti-AP? The guy is a solid pick against AD and AP champions, in fact I would say he's built to deal with AD champs just as well as AP champs. All he needs is a Spirit Visage and a Thornmail and his shield will regenerate so much health from AA's. His ult is built to punish assassins and bruisers diving his carries, something that is easier for him to do than diving the enemy team's carries.

Galio's a solid champion. He's a tank, he supports the team, deal with it.

I played as Galio in URF Mode. Wrecked

I played him in URF earlier today... and completely ruined the other team's day. They had AP Malphite, AP Maokai, AD Nasus, ADC Vayne, and AP Shaco.

I had a freaking blast.

URFalio is actually REALLY strong, especially against all the poke champions that people love using.
