Didn't GP already GET his VU during the Bilgewater event? Really, all Riot needs to do is update the splashes, and it's finished.

yup, GP got his VGU twice during the bilgewater event so his skin splashes are the only things left to update, reminder that Special Forces Gangplank, Sultan Gangplank and Captain Gangplank are excluded

No, the Justicar skin's an AU skin where Syndra embraced the Ionian ideals of balance. Hence why the skin's orbs have a Mantle of Decorum in them, which is Ionia's highest honor.

Yes, that's the idea, but in practice it's just the name and a little detail of Mantle of Decorum-like thing inside spheres, but only on the splash art.

What I mean, is that the skin falls short at delivering said AU, once you use it in-game.

TBF, it is only a 975 skin, and was her launch skin (Remember, she was launched back in September of 2012). Maybe in the future, when she gets a VGU (Probably in the next two years or so), they'll update the skin to better match the idea. Really, the skin's just a product of the quality standards of the time. Her other skins match their themes better.

It's price is indeed 975, but the actual one would be 1350.

Notice, Justicar Syndra is the reason Atlantean skin is priced at 975, despite filling all prerequisites for being the 1350 tier.

Ironically, Snow Day one was priced at 1350 despite having only slightly more content than Justicar - which doesn't have a new recall - and less than Atlantean - which has new run animations.

Then again, if they changed the prices on reworked skins to what they should be, a LOT of skins would be repriced as part of VGUs, (Frozen and Yellow Jacket Shen would both be at least 790 RP, for example, if they did that and both weren't Legacy skins.)

So, even if the skin got reworked as part of a VGU, it would be 1350 quality, but still 975 RP.

Also, why would Justicar be the reason that Atlantean is 975? Atlantean matches the same quality of the other skins of its tier for the most part, and would have been priced at that regardless.

975 RP Features: new model, new texture, new splash image. Sometimes includes: new animations, visual effects, and sounds where appropriate for the skin's theme.

Meanwhile...

1350 RP Features: new model, new texture, new splash image, new animations, new visual effects, new sounds. Sometimes includes: processed voice overs.

Justicar: No new animations, recolored particles, same model as the basic Syndra.

Atlantean: New animations (Recall, specifically), recolored particles, new sound effects (Splashes in particular), new model.

Both still 975.
