I think its possible to get good enough to climb from bronze to platinum in the span of an entire year, but then again i'm a pleb who can't get out of silver ._.
Thats actually possible. The REAL way to tell is if someone is in bronze, SWITCHES SUMMONER SPELL ORDER then goes on like a 20 winning streak.
ok, this doesnt mean they are elo boosted, some times people get stuck in bronze because of team mates and next season they abused dynamic que to get higher with pre mades
This isnt proof of anything. I have two league accounts. One i play ranked on all the time (gold/platinum elo), and the other i played enough to get placed in bronze and left it at that every season. This year im climbing on the second account and its going from bronze last season to gold/platinum elo this season. So the op.gg from my second account would look exactly the same as the one you use for an example. Doesnt have anything to do with boosting. Just means im actually putting the time in to climb on it
to be fair it is possible he was a great player who sucked at carrying, so when he was placed a little higher in s6 he was able to actually climb.

ye dood not boosted
Jungler hard stuck in SIlver S5, finished low Challenger S6.
That's not very telling to me.
I started playing ranked as Season 5 ended, started Season 6 Bronze, ended Season 6 Gold, hit Platinum in pre-Season 7 and then hit Platinum again when Season 7 started.
Gotta love winning and losing at the right time.
LOL someone being jelly.
Is it "Forever Toast"? Thats my brother who got bronze to plat
My main account is banned on the boards for reasons. I started playing in preseason for season 6.
But I went from B5 in the start of season 6, to P5 for the end of it.
Then again, I played 3000 games in one season. I think that has something to do with it.
Dude going from bronze to play is completely possible, I have friends that have done it and I went from silver to diamond in S3. If you are playing and actually improving it will show in your rank.
