Well they move so fast and I'm so bad that I can't click on them in time before they get away.
Sad thing is that a lot of people find "point can click" unskilful and that it lacks counterplay ect... And they see rather those things removed. It seems to be the trend of Riot too. Most champion updates remove single targeted abilities.
