So does Urgot, but he was killing it at LCS. Win rate just means most people can't win with him, it has no indication on whether an individual can win with him,

Anything is possible with enough determination, love for the champion and/or role, and boredom.

Hell, I managed 3/2/14 as Soraka jungle the first time I tried it. I even took bets beforehand, and everyone ate their words afterwards.

Besides, pros are a whole new level. Meta and FotM means nothing to them. They play what works for what's needed, not what can solo carry their team.

sion practically does everything a mundo does with A) more lane dominance, B) more CC, and C) more damage.

unless you go magic-pen, cleaver mundo. then proceed.

Seriously, though. Maybe blame it on people not knowing how stupidly strong that AD steroid is, but I can stand my ground against pretty much any other top laner, and win most of them. Teamfights then devolve into me chasing the enemy ADC down and killing them (since my 100+ AD steroid and PD give me as much damage as they have, plus 4.5k health and 150+AR/MR) and returning to clean up.

Yeah that's often the case for me too. The problem i find with Mundo is that he lacks damage late-game. Early-Game mundo is pretty weak, mid-game mundo is very strong and very tanky for his level. However late-game Mundo is just a Cleaver-Spamming sponge that deals no damage other than his Q. He's not really a threat to the enemy team, and often would get ignored during teamfights. (Unless you poped your Ult and charged on their ADC) Maybe I just suck :/

Seriosuly, early-ish Zeal then PD as like my 2nd or 3rd item keeps me relevant all game long. I personally run 10% crit on my rune page, but that's more because getting headbutts early on is fun but probably not very effective. People constantly are surprised when I pull off a triple kill or better, but when you're running 40% crit and have an average of 150 AD steroid, it doesn't sound so ridiculous. The cleaver and Randuin's active helps me stick like crazy.

Imo Sion has less sustain, if Mundo gets low R and it never happened (plus warmogs and spirit visage :).

sion does have less sustain, less single target damage, and less sticking potential in long fights (unless he dies). but he isnt as reliant on health regen (especially with every midlaner having summoner 14 item 3165 - unless of course, he dies) and can initiate fights.

I honestly have no idea how Mundo's win rate is so low. He pretty much autowins his lane at 6, is basically unkillable in the tank meta, and still does shit tons of damage because %health damage OP. Do people just fuck up his early laning and feed? Do they go in at horrible times and get kited to death? Do they just farm badly and fall behind? I simply have no idea, because Mundo feels like an absolute monster whenever I play him.

Problem is he's not really unkillable, late-game he often get executed within seconds even with his ult on. And unlike other tanks, he doesn't really have any effective CC or burst damage.

Whenever i see mundo in ranked... well mundo isn't counter much by a specific champion summoner 14 Apparently Sadists don't like being on fire. because pre-six mundo doesn't have much health to work with and post six mundo is fucked over by grievous wounds... while TP has more play-making potential Ignite is BY FAR the better summoner in solo-queue against a mundo

So far every mundo I've killed has been CCed and Kited. its like flowchart at this point. Mudo goes in, is he close? Yes -> CC -> Kite while slowed/stunned/w/e No? Kite till close -> CC -> rinse repeat
