When somebody says it's the support's job to ward
to the support with sightstone as an excuse to never ward themselves, ever.

If you don't upgrade your trinket, you have no right to complain about vision. http://mtv.mtvnimages.com/uri/mgid:file:http:shared:mtv.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Feel-1430165658.gif
I love you OP.
I had one game awhile back, I was Janna supp, pretty early game, and all of a sudden in chat I see the midlane Yasuo just straight bitching up a storm that I didn't ward his lane, or roamed up to land a Q so he can use his ult. Like it's not only my responsibility to ward his lane but also land his skillshots for him.
I have no problem roaming when I can. But not when I get a blood thirsty Cait, Thresh, and a jg Udyr who thought bot lane was a nice place to take a camping trip. Was funny to see them throw a tantrum and threaten to kill my dog though, if I had a dog, I might have cared. XD
And then there's that time when you find that super rare Support who refuses to ward even when you ask them nicely.
Me—"Can you ward up dragon?" Support—"Ward it yourself, it isn't just my job!" Me—"I already have 3 greens and a pink and I don't have any left in inventory, you don't have any down atm." Support—"Stop abusing me! I can't do everything for you! Why does nobody ever ward except support!" Me—"But I do have wards down?" Support—"Then why do you need me to?!?" and so on.
I play jungle and support a lot, so it particularly annoys me when the people who have the easiest time warding (jungle or support, whichever I'm not at the time) are the ones refusing to do it.
Ty, i'm sick of having to buy sightstone when i support when literally everyone takes ward trinket and they can upgrade it for 2 wards per person= 10 wards total I got called an idiot for arguing this at my team. In my defense this is the same team that said I was bad for not warding top, even though it wasn't my lane and I was helping my adc entire time. The hp is just what you get from a ruby crystal- that's pretty sad. I'd much rather get useful items that give me stats to help my team out. Such as sunfire, rod of aged, or whatever else actually works in my build. Bad enough I have to fill a slot with a supp item for majority of the game but this crap too?
This thread caught my attention since I myself, 90% of the time am the support on my team. personally I LOATHE the
and
, since to me and my duo partner it is wholly unneeded, however I do see the benefit of the items wards, that being said while the wards are nice to have if your the only one warding to begin with, your team has zero right to complain about vision because you have 4 other players with trinkets and the four seconds it take to buy a dang ward in the shop if they really need it, but yet they whine that you the support aren't warding enough. well tough balls I get three from the sightstone and two from my trinket someone else can ward the other half of the map
I've played A LOT of
support. I've recently resolved to buying a couple
and going
at level 9 instead of
and
. Suck it.
We fell behind in a game today when I was playing support. I checked the minimap and noticed that there were only three wards on the map. I placed one down and saw one of the others disappear. They were all my wards.
I was LITERALLY the only person warding that game, until I reminded my allies that they had trinkets.
Right dude I get complaints about not warding all the time as a support, when I'm buying multiple stealth wards every few minutes :/ just because i dont have sightstone doesnt mean im not warding -_-
only costs 250g, lasts 3m refreshes every 60s and stacks wards. There is no excuse Support should need to buy additional warding. Everyone gets free wards, learn to use them.
If the game ends and you warded less than 10 times in a 45m game, no matter your position you should be reported and banned.
It's another thread about upgrading trinkets. I thought by now people would know to do so, but these threads keep popping up and I can't do anything but support them. Every game I play, there are 3-4 players that refuse or neglect to upgrade their trinkets.
