Yeah, we were moving but there was a MAJOR miscommunication about the power bill or some other. So our new house had power and our apartment was in the dark. I also didn't really get to know anyone in the complex because I knew we were gonna move again (we've moved 4 times in 4 years but stayed in the same state at least) so taking the laptop to McDonald's was the only way to entertain myself after they put cameras in the laundry room.

That's a much better situation than I had in my head, I assumed it was recovery from a natural disaster or something similar which would have entailed other hardships as well. lol they wouldn't let you use your laptop in the laundry room of the complex you were a resident of?

Well they didn't want residents to use the outlets in there because we didn't pay for that electricity. I had to charge my laptop in order to use it because the battery was poor, so I did for awhile until they went and established cameras to prevent it. Though the weirdest part was playing Dota 2 and just casually trying to avoid small talk while people gave me curious looks and folded underwear.

Vel'Koz is an excellent laner with strong team fight potential. He is honestly sleeper OP but not enough people play him, and pro players are too much into LeBlanc, Syndra, Orianna, and Cassiopeia to take the time to learn him or utilize him in pro play.

You're not wrong, but you have to remember that Vel'Koz isn't just immobile, he has a channeled ultimate. This isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be in soloQ, but it's a massive weakness in pro play. He's also not actually that great of a laner, given he lacks real kill threat until level 6, and 1v1 scenarios are when his opponent can devote the most attention to avoiding his skillshots.

He's still really good right now, so if he's your type of champion, don't hesitate to pick him up. //shamelessplug

He's not a safe pick so him becoming a pro champ is impossible. he's one of the few champions who are actually balanced and thats a terrible thing for pro players

He's actually popped up in pro play a few times when mid lane has been in a particularly good spot. He'll likely never be a competitive pick/ban, but he could eventually carve out a place as a decent pocket pick for some players.

Free mana regen? Check

How? If you mean his Q you have to align three enemies in row and have them low enough to execute them but not low enough to be killed by your minions first in order for it to work like Mana regen. Not really free.

That's like saying Rakan has free full-enemy-team charm.
