With the new masteries, Leona can literally be a on a League of her own ... sorry, bad pun.
Jokes aside, she's as tanky as she could ever be. Unless you play passive for some reason, she can tower dive and make it out with half of her HP there. Of course, always build tank too because ... she's supposed to go into the middle of team fights and stun the most damaging rival on the enemy side.
