You must not have played against a good Malz then. I love Malzahar to death but his free pushing that refills mana and can poke while he doesnt even need to be anywhere near the creep wave, and his 2.5 seconds ranged suppression are the most cancerous thing ever in lane. I can literally press R and click on the enemy mid laner and he does not get to play League of Legends today

LOL, dude i can say that malz is my fav AP mid and I honestly find Ori worse. The thing is his early game is super weak, because his e can't kill minions without autos until at least rank three and you have two doran's. So he suffers against aggression, and even his ult doenst make up for that early, especially because it basically suppress you in place too. Ori on the other hand has crazy utility and damage, a strong lane phase, and even stronger teamfight than Malz. She is literally more annoying to play against then malz for the whole team. Malz is only good for deleting 1 person. Ori can delete your whole team while protecting the ADC.

The point is that Malzahar literally takes their ability to play away through Ult and subtly through silence aka taking the fun away. Ori is alot more accuracy and dodging based so it allows more "fun" to be had.

i kicked the shit out of malz every time just by rushing one item... QSS. Boom, lane won. My overall damage suffered, but I got defense and negated the suppression for 1k gold. Easy.

This is the same damn argument i see everytime I mention Malz. You rush QSS. Great. Now Malz does your job better than you do, since you rushed QSS and now have no ap, no cdr or mana regen to compete with his power. This is an even worse situation than vs Zed. Zed force you to go Armguard in Zhonya just to survive the lane, and alot of people have a problem with that since a Zhonya rush is bad stat wise, no AP spike like Death Cap, no burst spike like Luden, no cdr no regen. You buy an item solely to survive the lane. And qss doesn't even build into something useful for a mage, and the stats it gives is very inefficent

And i really don't think "kick the shit out of" is the correct word here. You have qss, your minion dont. He's still gonna perma push into your tower, and you cant really push back because, surprise, you sunk 1k gold into qss, now you got no ap or mana regen. Sure he's not gonna kill you, but he's still gonna win in cs and force you under your tower, and potentially having ot back repeatedly while he free farm and roam. Wining lanes is not just about kills. Also I really hope your brought enough QSS for everyone in your team, because in teamfight he's not gonna ult you anyway.

Braum? Probably, long as his team's not stupid Jayce? Eh...no. After lvl 3 Jayce starts to sweat and at lvl 6 he feels real sad vs a Riven. Especially since his hammer E is a longer CD than Riven's 4 dashes

Jayce can just bully her from range and use his E for self peel. He can match her if he plays right.

Though the more important criteria for that comment was people who can prevent her from winning lane; not necessarily who can win lane against her (Braum counters the hell out of her in this respect).
