Me neither, ones an FPS the other is a MOBA. Not everyone who's good at MOBA's is good at FPS game and visa versa.
MonkeyMadness6 votesThat's the point. Who really wants to go from LoL to DOTA2, or vice versa? It's a refreshing change, but still has elements of similarity (each hero in Overwatch has moba-like abilities and an ultimate, can be picked to counter other heros, etc).

Well right now the biggest problem I'm having with Overwatch is that I'm terrible at FPS games. I swear my cursor is over the person and I still miss.

Overwatch is used as a threat towards RIOT. If RIOT does't give the player whatever he demands in his post. Then the player threatens to leave and go play Overwatch. It's about the equivalent of telling your wife if she doesn't give you a blow job tonight you're going to go get one from the neighbor. It's both stupid and childish.
MynadarxCZ1 votesFrom my experience there are shtload of LoL players playing OW, so yeah, it makes sense that LoL players keep bringing up OW. And the games are not that different at all - both games are teambased PvP games where you kill the enemy players yet the killing is not the main goal of the game, it just help to achiev that goal. You have tanks, dpss and supps in both games too. They are actully really similiar - OW is just less toxic and less pay to win and more fun than LoL (cant wait for those thumps down for this last sentence :P ).
Jari1 votesAnd that's exactly why it's drawing people. Nobody's going to quit league for something like smite or Dota after years of league. It makes no sense, you just get the same damn feeling with a slightly different change to it. At that point, why not just play league where you spent so much money?
Overwatch is giving people here a brand new feeling because it's different. It makes it more enjoyable because you don't make comparisons between overwatch and league.

Lol u probably heard that from a salty idiot who lost to a good genji. OW is well balanced where heroes have clear counters. The game is about adapting to the situation, so some heroes can curbstomp others but still u can even beat a hard counter of urs if u are smart. On the other hand, Jeff Kaplan indirectly disses riot by sayin we will listen to your feedback to the players. They actually hear u out.

Probably the only real terrible thing Overwatch has with balance is the ability to stack heroes (since hero stacking can utterly break the game at times). There's a couple heroes who are arguably a bit overpowered or underpowered, but I'd say there's no 'must pick because of how op they are' characters like there are in league. I will say however, there are team comps and characters in Overwatch that make you want to shoot yourself in the head when playing against them

Pÿrö4 votesWhile I hate that they did that, they really give you no reason to buy the loot boxes besides getting a ton of random stuff sooner. You're going to get the stuff ANYWAY, so there's no incentive to buy unless you're just impatient, and the fact that the stuff you get is random means you probably aren't going to get what you want if you buy anyway, so why buy? basically just imagine it's not there. I've forgotten it was there but keep getting reminded lol. Plus I expect them to have every release added on to the game without "expansion packs" and all that. If they do, it will def be worth the full price, by adding more and more. And even though it costed me $40, I still love the game.
