Better yet they PICK your champ ahead of time to troll you, not intending to trade
GODDAMN IT GUYS. STOP BANNING MY SUPPORT YORICK. I SWEAR I AM NOT TROLLING.
if someone in your team is showing any sort of disliking to you (asks for your roll and you say no or something like that) just pick who you want banned and boom, their banned for you
I once played ap riven because my team banned my champion intentionally. even laughed at me in champ select for intending to play taliyah. I still feel kinda guilty about it but it was the best feeling in a while to see those 4 premades crying.
If I see someone with a Sion pick intent, it usually means a good game. An experienced Sion player will absolutely destroy the enemy team.
But if you pick intent Swain, you're outta luck bud xD
I just had a game where I think I banned one of my teammates pick intent. I thought I looked at our teams champions, saw that no one was picking Hecarim, and then banned him, but the jungler must have chosen him at the last second or I'm extremely oblivious or he didn't choose him, because after I banned Hecarim I saw my jungler's summoner spells were Ghost and Smite. I asked him in chat if he wanted to pick it, and he said "wtf yeah" and then I felt really badly and behaved apologetically. He asked me to dodge, which I didn't do, but I did offer him mid. He accepted the trade, but once the opponent locked in Yasuo, he declined and told me to go mid. He then went Ryze jungle. I thought he might be trolling because of me and I felt even worse. Looking back on it, I feel like he was trying to make someone dodge. In game, he got executed at Wolves, and when he came to the Red Brambleback, the enemy Elise invaded him and tried to kill him. I instantly thought, "This is my chance to prove to Ryze that I'm really sorry!" and I came over to help him, killing the Elise and helping him get away. He didn't behave angrily during the game and he did pretty well, getting a S for doing decently on a champion in an unorthodox position.
That's my story about banning pick intents.
Only happened once to me, that being said I banned fizz and our midlaner apparently had it for his POT... His orb was empty I swear
I've never actually intentionally banned someone's intended pick, although I have been yelled at for banning a champion someone was apparently going to play but they didn't think it was worth it to tell their team. They just left their intended pick empty. Like what?
I sometimes just cycle through champions and land on someone random for fun (no one I actually play has a high ban rate, plus I always have back ups). I remember this one Jhin got all pissy because I had it set to Talon support despite being in the previous lobby with him and picking Janna when the time came (I did the same thing then too). He insisted that my team ban talon the second time around because he didn't want Talon support (not like I was going to but it was funny how pissy he got).
Who would bother to ban Sion anyway?
don't tell your team to leave your pick unbanned, and 99% your pick will not banned [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
Times like this u bust out tank teemo or AP Draven .
Me-"pick intents sona for mid"
Team-sona mid? Caitlyn promptly bans sona instead of someone like yasou. And then proceeds to say oops.. Didn't see your pick.
I mean sona is like the 126th least banned champ according to op.gg. Yet my last game with her mid I went 11-4-12 or something like that.
Unless it's a bronze player wanting to play Yasuo, that's a dick move.
Honestly I often feel this way when people do not put up any pick intent bc I can not adjust my pic for sake of team composition.
"When my team bans my Pick Intent"
When my team bans my intent pick
I want them to. Because then I'm going Ashe support and showing them what the true definition of suffering is.
As a sion player I know your pain
I can say that every time I've banned someone's pick intent is because I wasn't paying close enough attention..
Yeah I know that feel.
I do that all the time to Fizz players... I always ban him and forget to look at intents
thats why i dont use pick intent since id rather have my pick not banned but it gets stolen from me 90% of the time
