Any yas with half a brain will NOT dash when he gets zoned by Event Horizon. He'll just toddle around and dodge the stuff that actually matters. 5 seconds later he jumps on your head and chunks you down.

Know these feelings guy, I play squishy mages very much (like Veigar but mostly Azir) and I really, really have problems vs Yasuo because he just dashes through my minions, takes my half life away with one q and dashes back, doing this 3 times and I am dead, even with heal pots. That Champion is just like: No, you don't zone me and you don't trade with me, I'm just the god of mid lane ... . Just looking at streams of TSM Bjergsen, I also thought: Lol, even Bjegsen has no concept against Yasuo ... . So just someone tell me again that this champion is not overpowered ... I hate him so, so much like no other champions because even if you win early game to him like I normally do as Kindred, you won't be able to fight him in mid or late game because he just has a late game build with 3k gold. RIOT PLS why don't you accept that Yasuo is defenetly too strong? Or is it just like Lee Sin who doesn't get a nerf because too many people would be completely pissed off that they can't play their cool overpowered Champion?

Just because Azir was nerfed really hard this season and Yasuo just received a huge, huge buff with this new Crit mastery, starting with a item 1051 and just healing against my poke so I am not able to deal enough damage to poke him down. As a result, I don't have enough Mana to kill him if I don't get a really, really early blue buff.

Uh, during All For One we got vlad picked into Yasuo. They would wall at the start of a fight and the only thing it blocked was the E. I healed from the spellvamp and then the ball of..HP? or whatever it is that flies back to vlad indeed passed his wall and healed me. Either they changed it, or you are mistaken.

I run Azir into Yasuo pretty often, albeit he's my highest mastery champion but still, soldiers provide good harass plus u can stay far enough away from your minion wave to deny his dashes, u can use R to zone him away from you and use E if he tries to gap close onto you. The key is getting early boots to dodge tornadoes and after that just make sure u don't let him get in dash range when he has 2 Q stacks up, unless the enemy jungle camps you and has a knock up ( Zac [zombie-nunu-bummed] ) he'll be unable to touch u.

The only issue is making sure he doesn't roam and screw over bot lane after that, and harassing him with soldiers enough to delay his crit core

The problem with early boots is that if you don't get a Doran's first, you can't harass at all with your W > Q because if you do, you need to waste money on mana po- DAMMIT RIOT. Without doing that, you'll never get to back because of his lifesteal mastery allowing him to stay in lane as long as he wants unless you get a gank. I call it "his" because no other champion gets free 15% lifesteal other than him with that. At least, not as easily.

Oh I'm not saying start boots, I'm saying try and drive him out of lane pre-6 and get boots first back so when he's post 6 he has a harder time landing a tornado. I start Doran's 9/10 and then first back I try and have enough for Idol, and boots to allow me to harass more and dodge more of his. Plus the crit mastery isn't worth as much until he gets his crit core finished which if your good at Azir you should be able to delay until you get Nashor's online and some of Morello [slayer-jinx-wink]

When he gets Shiv he gets scarier but u can delay it fairly well if u can zone him off CS, but I agree Yasuo is too popular this patch. They should nerf the mastery so it only functions off of basic attack crits and not basic attack like abilities (Yasuo Q, Yi Q, etc...), and either up the CD or reduce/remove the cooldown while nerfing the heal. I think healing 3% of critical hit damage on no CD wouldn't be AS bad don't you?

Fervor is useless on Azir lol, his soldier attacks count as spell casts meaning that they don't stack fervor or proc its damage, the only two Keystones that work on Azir well are Thunderlords or Deathfire. Deathfire because he's a poke champion in team fights making his harass stronger and Thunderlords because his poke combo is AA-Q-AA which insta-procs Thunderlord's. You could also run Stormraider's but it would get less use unless u get soldiers on squishies

Have you tried it? It stacks. Deathfire is the one that doesn't work well because his autos don't proc it.

EDIT: I'm not sure if it still does proc the damage with the updates, but it was when I originally posted about it. I only stopped using it because the 45% CDR is just too good to pass up for me. I do know that it still stacks, and it stacks with each champ hit. Not just on each auto.

The guy tried doing all these fancy tricks with his E and Q, I just autoattacked him to death without my Q, as Darius I would've had to literally not attack him until half hp for him to be able to take me

Obviously if you just trade autos, Darius is gonna win. That's why Yasuo is supposed to poke with Q, get free autos when you last hit, and then dash in for the all in if you ever use Q. All while slow pushing should an all in occur. It's definitely a winnable matchup for Yasuo early, as is nearly every matchup thanks to how strong his early trading is. However, once lvl 6 rolls around, Darius should run away with it assuming he hasn't been feeding a bunch already.
