How language dependant is the game? Could a non-English speaker play the game without having to stop continuously to ask for translations or are there major chunks of text in the cards?
Also: what are the possibilities of getting the game in Spanish in the future? Should I just wait or buy it in English and translate as I play to my non-English-speaking friends?
We're providing localized rule books for print by players even if we don't "ship" the game localized immediately. You can download them over at mechsvsminions.com, underneath the overview video. (Direct link to download) We're currently only shipping English and Simplified Chinese unfortunately.
In terms of the game itself, the localized rule book and dossiers should be enough to get you by. The only text on the physical assets are card descriptions and a few notes on the command lines/doom tracker, but we have a translated reference sheet that should clarify the cards.
If we don't have a translation in your language - let us know, we've been trying hard to ensure as many players as possible can access the game in their preferred language.
