[RESOLVED] 1/16 Matchmaking Issues With Premades

[Update 1/16 6:16PM PST] We've found the issue to be related to one of the pre-made players only placing for season 2017 and not any other season. No exact ETA on fix yet, but hopefully that helps isolate your issue.

NOTABLY, placements this season will take into account what you placed last season and does not default you to silver unless you were also unranked last season. TL;DR - Diamond is still diamond from last year and can't queue up with Silver.

Hi Guys -

We're noticing some players aren't able to get into game when they hit the Find Match button. Reports are saying that some pre-mades aren't allowed to match.

We're working on getting it resolved. If there are other match making issues where you can't get into game, let us know what they are and what exactly is happening. Thanks!

My friend and I both ended Plat 5 and are still unable to duo in solo queue but we ended plat 5 and silver 2 in flex but can still queue up? Riot pls???

Happening to me as well. My friends and I all finished plat 5 last season in flex but it won't let me queue with anyone of them for it.

Still having trouble queing up.... Any update when I can que with my buddy? Getting a little antsy having to wait a little longer for something I've had to already wait a while for! Good luck fixing.....

4 days into season still no fix...hopefully they can send a patch out tmrw so I can play this weekend.

Is this going to affect my rank? because this happened on my 1/10 ranked game and if It drops my win/lose streak before I even get a chance to play that'll really put me off league for a while. it kicked me out of the game before it started up and told me my league client was repairing then my team voted remake.

i placed bronze last season i got to gold and my solo/duo preseason is really abnormal i also cant flex with other team mates

Your MMR is a soft reset(Meaning that it moves down to allow the higher elo players that can't be placed above plat 1 to go down the ladder).

Hoping for a fix really soon, my friend was plat and I was silver but we are both unranked now and we would like to play by today please

After repeatedly nagging riot i finally got an answer. If you had an account violation that nullified your end of season rewards (border etc) then your account is treated as silver until after your placements. Basically, if your in the same boat as me you just gotta solo your placements to get your rank back before you can queue with your friends (assuming your friends are higher than gold).

I got plat when season ended and climbed up to diamond in preseason. My friend is also diamond but we can't duo together.

My Premate got a 14-Day Ban in Season 7 and we also cant duo together... I ended the Season in Platinum 4 and he in Gold 2. Are you unable to play duoq when u got banned in the season before?

Well yay plz resolve it - my Problem was i started the 2nd (flex)placement game-> then i could not connect-> had errors lkie the internet would be off(wich it was not) or the gaphics card is not pluged in (other games no problem) ... then for a 3rd placement game i could not start--> i reboot my computer -->now i cant even log in You can do it!!
