4/13 Live Maintenance [Possible DC’s, Ranked Disabled, and more]

Hey all,

We wanted to give everyone a heads up that at 2:00AM PDT we will be performing some live maintenance on our platform, ending around 5:00AM PDT. This is part 1 of a 2 step process where we are making some improvements to our network infrastructure between the LoL Platform (PvP.net) and some of our Point-of-Presences. We know that this may cause some stability problems where players could experience disconnects, packet loss, or high ping, which is why we’re doing this in the wee early hours of the morning.

We’ll also be disabling ranked as a precaution. The last thing we want is an epic backdoor to fail due to the ADC disconnecting and autoing minions instead of stopping the backing of the enemy team.

Drop us a comment if you are seeing any extreme issues during this time. We’ll have some people on-deck keeping an eye on the thread and responding when possible.

Will you at least release Mecha Zero Sion? I'm all for fixing things but this would save some trouble later on in the week.

This would have been lovely to know before trying to queue up and finding myself stuck in a dynamic queue for 5 minutes just stuck in the banning phase.

I remember I would always play LoL at around 1-6 AM because my parents don't understand that I can't pause the game. I still play at my prime around 1-6 AM because my sleep schedule is 3-10 PM and I do all my school stuff at 10-12. It's kinda hard to do that now because college gives you so much work.

well, i do see some "extremity" but it is not an issue. I used to have issues where I connect to a different server ip address when loading in each game. Sometimes the game loaded with 3-40 ping whereas other times the game loaded at 90-100 ping. It never fluctuated once the game loads, and I could spam alt f4 to reload the game until it restarted with 30-40 ping. well... that is now fixed and it is even before the scheduled maintenance. i tried making custom games 10 times. and usually 5 of 10 games would be problematic but just now i saw all ten games with normal pings. let me know if this is due to a tweak from your end?

I cannot log into the game. period. off either of my accounts. Iv deleted and reinstall league. I have flushed dns. I have restarted router/ and computer multiple times. I have done ip configuration. We have run administrator and firewall are disabled. I have been struggling for a couple hours. :(

im on i75500u and sometime i have drop fps my normal 250 280 and its down to 80 40 O.o

but mages (or abilities) are better at doing that than adcs (or autos) in the first place

because aoe

unless the adc has runaan's, but then the autoing of nearby minions would be plenty to stop the recalls.

unless of course you're referring to the fact that so many adcs get played that the adc would end up being cast in the place of an aoe mage's back-halting?

I got disconnected after choosing the champ and right before the loading screen. The loading screen would not appear and it keeps saying "unspecified error", tells me to check my internet meanwhile I can still watch videos and stuff as usual. [zombie-brand-clap]

I tried restarting my laptop, reconnect more than 20 times, delete the game and reinstall, I even updated my Mac just for it. It has been like 3 games now and I am put on an inferior queue just because of this. I WANT MY JUSTICE!!!!!!!!! [zombie-brand-mindblown]

I just tried a custom game and the same thing happened. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Someone please tell me how to fix this or if you have similar problems.
